  26. * To initially install Windows NT on a SCSI disk attached to the Fast!SCSI/QLA400
  27.   or to install Windows NT from a CD-ROM player attached to the Fast!SCSI/QLA400:

  29.     1. Insert Windows NT "Boot Disk" and reboot system
  30.     2. Select "Custom Setup"
  31.     3. Enter "S" to configure additional SCSI adapters and select "Other"
  32.     4. Insert QLogic SCSI software diskette and press ENTER
  33.     5. Select "QLogic Fast!SCSI/QLA400" and press ENTER
  34.     6. Continue with standard installation procedure

  37. * To install the QLogic Fast!SCSI/QLA400 miniport driver on installed NT system:
  38.  
  39.     1. Select "Windows NT Setup" from Main program group
  40.     2. Select "Options" from Windows NT Setup window
  41.     3. Select "Add/Remove SCSI Adapter" from menu
  42.     4. Select "Add" from SCSI Adapter Setup window
  43.     5. Select "Other" from the list of supported adapters
  44.     6. Insert QLogic SCSI software diskette
  45.     7. Enter "A:\NT" for path to NT driver and select "OK"
  46.     8. Choose "QLogic Fast!SCSI/QLA400" driver and select "OK"
  47.     9. Select "Install" followed by "Continue" to install the driver
  48.

  50. * After installing the QLogic miniport driver and rebooting NT, SCSI disk and
  51.   CD-ROM devices will be automatically configured by NT.

  54. * To install Windows NT drivers for supporting SCSI tape devices:
  55.  
  56.     1. Select "Windows NT Setup" from Main program group
  57.     2. Select "Options" from Windows NT Setup window
  58.     3. Select "Add/Remove Tape Devices" from menu
  59.     4. Select "Add" from Tape Device Setup window
  60.     5. Select desired tape driver from the list of supported tape devices
  61.     6. Select "Install"
  62.     7. Insert Windows NT CD-ROM and enter device letter and path to the
  63.        Windows NT installation files ("D:\I386")
